About the VFWCA Foundation

The Veterans of Foreign Wars, Department of California Foundation, is a 501(c)3 non profit organization that relies on public and corporate donations to support programs that promote citizenship, education and volunteerism and facilitates aid for active duty military veterans and their families in need of medical, rehabilitation, educational and employment services. The Veterans of Foreign Wars, Department of California Foundation, was launched in 2001 to raise funds for programs such as the VFW Voice of Democracy, Patriot's Pen, Teacher of the Year award and other recognition programs, as well as to support the veterans, past and present, here in California through the work of dedicated field service officers.  It is because of your support and generosity that we are able to continue with these programs. Although he Veterans of Foreign Wars, Department of California Foundation, is separate from the Veterans of Foreign Wars, its commitment is the same; improving the lives of veterans and active duty personnel, their families and their communities.
