Reports and Information - Important Notice - the following reports will be updated on a Monthly basis rather than a weekly basis beginning January 1, 2008.

The following reports have been updated

  • 2007/2008 Convention Arrearages Report - Final Report as June 13, 2008.
  • Posts that have not submitted a list of their elected delegates for the 88th State Convention - As of June 13, 2008

Attached is the final 07-08 Arrearages Report that will be submitted to the Convention Credentials and Registration Commitee. If your Post is highlighted with red then your Post is currently under suspension for a period of ninety (90) days and will not be allowed to register a delegate at the Convention. (the Department Commander provided enough time to clear these arrearages, the deadline was June 1)

Your are hereby notified that the Posts that failed to submit a election report or was missing two or more audits have been placed under suspension effective June 6, 2008.

The items hightlighted in yellow can still be cleared. Note that we will only clear financial obligations at the Department Convention. All other issues must be received in Department HQ’s by the end of business on June 18, 2008 (There will be no exceptions)

  • Posts that have not submitted a 2008/2009 Election Report - As of June 13, 2008
  • Posts that have not registered a delegate for the 109th National Convention - As of June 13, 2008

Posted above are current lists of posts within our Department that have failed to submit an election report for the 2008-09 administrative year. These posts are now in arrears under Section 213 of the National By-Laws and shall be deprived of all normal privileges, specifically representation at the Department and National conventions. However, representation may be restored promptly upon proper adjustment of this deficiency. That is with one exception. It was the intent of the Department Commander and it was communicated that he would suspend the charter of all posts, who failed to submit an election report by June 1, 2008, for a period of ninety (90) days with possible revocation to follow. The suspension period will be fully implemented meaning that we will not address the lifitng of the suspension until after July 1 (at the earliest) any subsequent submissions of election reports in an attempt to terminate the suspension will be addressed after the initial suspension period. Of course, that further means those posts listed will not be allowed representation at the Department Convention, to include registration as a delegate and counted in the delegate strength.

Also posted is the current list of posts who have not yet registered a delegate to the 109th National Convention. Please assist us in informing the Posts of this requirement. Again, if the registration fee is not paid by the time of the Opening Session at the National Convention, this will likewise place the post in arrears with the same scenario as that described above for the lack of an election report.
