The Program will tell the story of Army PFC William “Bill” Huntington from Coachella who was killed in action on Oct 22, 1918 while fighting in France.


2018 marks the 100th anniversary of the end of WWI and the 80th Anniversary of the first VFW Post in the Coachella Valley.


The story of General George S. Patton, Jr. joining Post 3699 in 1942 at Camp Young (located at that time near Chiriaco Summit) and his remaining a member until his death will be told.


The names of the Post Charter Members, past Post Commander and current Post/Auxiliary Officers will be included.


Names, pictures and the award won by our Post/Auxiliary winners will be include.


The Program will list the Military Units adopted by Post/Auxiliary 3699 and a list of events and programs worked by the Post/Auxiliary that help Veterans in need, while supporting the Military and giving back to our communities we serve.
